“Save Your Ears” is the latest slogan in all the European countries now. As per as the new EU restrictions, their will be a check on the volume levels of your iPods and MP3 players that play your digital audio files. The objective is to save your ears from the loud music that you hear all the time.
According to the EU officials, as many as 10 million residents of EU has a risk of permanent damage to their hearing from listening to music that is played too loudly in their personal music players like MP3 players. The aim is to bring down the maximum volume level for all of your music players down to no more than 85 decibels. As the level of noise produced from these music players and the noise made by the busy city streets is equal.
Previously Apple has lowered the maximum volume levels on their iPods range It has brought the maximum volume level on Apple’s iPods down to 100db.
You can make this slogan successful with a little bit of interest from your end. From now whenever you hear your favorite music on your MP3 player, keep the volume low so that it doesn’t affect your ears due to the decibel level.
