
Nokia has announced that it will begin selling its new Netbook in the United States on October 22nd, the date on which Windows 7 is also going to be launched. The 10.1 inch Booklet 3G is compatible with Windows 7 and it has a thickness of 10.1 centimeters. The gen-next Netbook weighs 1.25kg. the company has declared that the 16cell battery is gonna provide 12 hours of backup for lifetime and the built-in SIM will enable the user to access the internet from any corner of the world.
The company president, Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo reportedly said that Nokia identifies with mobility better than any other and makes out that the most powerful machine should not need any power plug or network point. He assumes a hype among US consumers regarding the product.
The Booklet has also innate GPS which is connected to Nokia’s Ovi mapping function, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Nokia is selling the 3G Booklet for $299 from their stores and if anyone opts for AT&T data contract an additional $60 is chargeable.
The announcement has made the product sit in the same row with Apple’s 32GB Iphone and the contract with AT&T will give it entrĂ©e to one of the greatest Wi-Fi network of USA.
