Nokia is going to launch its new Netbook which will be powered by Windows 7. it is the latest deal between Microsoft and Nokia. Only this Tuesday Nokia declared that the new Booklet 3G Netbook will be enabled by Microsoft Windows 7 operating system.
The consumers of the product have a wide range of option in hand. They can choose from Windows 7 Starter Edition, Home Premium or Professional System. The prices start at $810 while the options are available at the higher end of the price range. The Netbook is motorized by Intel Atom processor.
Though it is a bit expensive, it surpasses its competitors with a robust accompaniment of communication tools.
Incorporated Nokia services are Ovi Suite 2.0, Nokia Music for PC, Ovi maps and Social Hub- which cumulates feeds from social network sites like Facebook, Twitter or Orkut. The default web browser is Internet explorer.
For better connectivity, the Booklet 3G proposes in-built WLAN and WWAN assistance to connect to the internet via Wi-Fi. The system basically has 1 GB of RAM and 120 GB of storage space.
Microsoft should promote Windows 7 implementation on Netbooks because it is the fastest growing market segment.
Many first generation Netbooks turned away from Windows to keep a lid on prices. This has resulted in a major falloff in Windows sales in recent times.
