Access Gmail sans Internet connection

Your Gmail access is now even more simplified. Enter “Offline Gmail” an advanced feature from Google labs. By switching on to “Offline Gmail” from Google’s Internetsearch page, you can readily access Gmail interface and check , compose mails , organize and search the worldwide web even when you are no longer connected to the Internet.

Surprising isn’t it? Well, this new offering from the Google labs is equipped with latest networking technology to hook you up to the Internet when you are no longer linked to it or even when the connection is running slow. With the help of a new “Flaky Connection” mode, Gmail Offline can readily pace up your Internet connectivity.

Google recently added two new extra features to its Offline access mode namely- the option to forward attachments while staying offline and the ability to choose downloadable messages for offline usage. Besides, it can neutralize bugs and makes your entire Internet experience smoother.

“Offline Gmail” is already popular among the business community and in schools where staying connected to the Gmail interface is quite a necessity. Offline Gmail support, relies on Google plug-in browser called “Gears”.

Switching on to “Gmail Offline” mode is quite simple. You only need to follow four simple steps namely- Clicking on the "Settings" link in the top-right corner of Gmail browser, selecting the” Offline" tab, enabling the” Offline Mail” option for the computer and finally clicking on” Save Changes" to switch on to “Offline Gmail” mode.

This Christmas, you can stay connected through “Offline Gmail” even if the Internet connection is closed down for the festive weekend. Just start humming your favorite carol and stay connected.
