ZX PC series of Gateway launched

Gateway introduced ZX series all in one PCs having multi touch display facility. The company declared that 20 inch -ZX4800 is meant for students and 23 inches –ZX6800 will be helpful for the gamers.

Gateway’s touch appliances enable quick access to music, videos, photos, social media networks and more applications via Wi-Fi network. These offer multi-touch screen technology have a wide range. These models are loaded with Intel Core 2 Quad Processor and ATIHD4670 graphics. Also 1 TB Hard Drive and 64 GB solid state drive is there in the 20 inch model.

Some PCs of ZX6800 series also have hybrid TV tuner and media Center remote control. Users having less budgets can go for ZX4800 series and still offers multi touch capabilities, Intel Pentium Processor, Model for 20-inch has high wide screen display, wireless and integrated graphics.

Initially the company released two types of PCs naming ZX6800 and ZX4800 with Touch Portal interface for Windows 7. When the users want to return to Windows 7 environment they have to peel back the Gateway Touch interface with just a move of fingers. The multi touch applications facilitate easy access to music, photos, social networking and other usage.

The ZX series is also having many other applications with the keyboard altogether. LS will provide Wi-Fi solutions to Iraq Company

LS Cable, which is a Korean power cable manufacturing company, is reportedly planning to supply wireless resolution to an Iraqi company, Sinatel.

The company has announced that it will introduce a whole new wireless fidelity or Wi-Fi connection which is gonna serve 10 times better than the previous high-speed Wi-Fi technology. The new technology solution, named as “LS Wi-Fi Solution”, will feature a military way of networking which is termed as ‘Beam Forming’, is gonna pull out the coverage area of Wi-Fi up to 2 kilometers whereas the previous connections used to provide a coverage area of 200 meters max to max.

Wi-Fi, which is a conventional standard for Wireless Internet Connection, facilitates a user to gain access to the internet without a cable from portable computers or base stations from the hotspots.

LS Cable is a part of LS Group which parted from South Korean multinational LG group. The company is now expecting a laceration in installment costs for the Wi-Fi connections as they are on the threshold of introducing a newer technology that needs fewer hubs for sharing wireless connectoions. According to a company spokesperson, the new technology needs one access point instead of ten.

This July, the company signed up a contract with Sinatel to provide and install a wi-fi network in Iraq.
